The women of the NFL embodies an organization that honors sisterhood, community and resources to the past and present women of the football league. This year, president Danisha Rolle who is also wife of retired NFL star Samari Rolle brought the ladies together for the fourth annual SET a an example conference which took place in Tulum, Mexico.
This three day conference was a theme of anything is possible. The retreat catered to all the women as they bonded through activities such as; a tour of Chichen Itza which is a Mayan ruin on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, and swam in Cenote which are popular and unique to Tulum.
The women of the NFL also got to spend time with each other, getting to know one another and share unique experiences and make memories of a lifetime. Not only did Danisha create the an organization to bring unity upon the women of the league but she stated,
I started WomenOfTheNFL to create a safe space for players wives, to support them mentally and emotionally.”
